Bruckheimer Talks Pirates 2 and 3 November 10th, 2004 - The producer of Pirates of the Caribbean and the upcoming films, Jerry Bruckheimer, explained today in a small interview published by Latino Review, that the original cast will return in the next and final installment of the trilogy. “We have the same team that did the first one and hopefully we can have the same success. It’s the same two writers who rewrote the first one and same director, same three actors initially and we’re negotiating with the rest of them, so hopefully we’ll get everybody back." He also says that "Treasures of the Lost Abyss" is not the title of the upcoming movie, as it was suggested by IMDb, and it is yet to be revealed.
