King Arthur DVD Update October 16th, 2004 - Finally got back from vacation as I spent the past week in Turkey. Had a great sunny holiday and I would recommend it to anyone. Anyway, enough about me, let's talk about Keira Knightley for a bit. You've all probably heard about the King Arthur DVD coming out soon. Well, as it turns out, while the original theatrical version was rated PG-13, the director's cut is bumped up to an R rating. What does this mean? Rumors say there will be one new scene featuring Guinevere and Arthur, as well as one featuring Cedric and Cynric. Plenty of gory footage is also promised! In an interview, the director stated that the death of Cynric (the saxon son) was originally longer and much more graphic, so there's a big chance we will see some of that as well.
